This God, who “exterminated all living creatures from the face of the earth,” because He perceived them to be “corrupt” and “lawless,” this God who destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, while char-broiling its innocent women and children, because He disapproved of the sexual practices of a few homosexual males, and this God of later “thou shall not steal” Commandment fame – now commands His people to rob and steal jewelry of silver and gold from their Egyptian neighbors before sneaking out of Goshen!!)
“– And the Lord gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians.” (Yeh, right!.The Egyptians showed the Hebrews their heart-felt thanks for the 10 plagues that destroyed Egypt and for having stolen them blind. No wonder the scribes who wrote this bobbles and deck withheld their identity!)
“–.all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first born of Pharaoh… even to the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill;” (but not if hiding under the mill, or on the roof?) “– and all the firstborn of beasts.” (Ah, God who is about to command His people. “thou shall not kill,” promises His same people he is about to become the world’s worst mass-murderer by killing all Egypt’s first-born – human and beast!)
“– And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it anymore.” (until the Holocaust in the land called Germany.)
“– But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that you may know how that the Lord put a difference.” (discriminated against the Egyptians – anti-Egyptianism.)
“– And the Lord said to Moses, ‘Pharaoh shall not hearken to you; that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.” (WONDERS”! What wonders? The10 unjust, malicious, and criminal plagues? The murder of all Egypt’s first-born? Those WONDERS?)
“– For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord.” (Wait a cotton picking’ minute, God of the Hebrews! Did You not just admit to premeditated mass murder? — More mass extermination? Did You ever consider that Your mass extermination in the days of Noah and now Moses, may have rendered Your people vulnerable to eventual mass extermination of THEM? You know –What goes around comes around? )
“– And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where you are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
(Alter Makhseyfe!! With murder, mass exterminations, floods, volcanoes, plagues, and rivers of blood as this God’s shtick, it’s past time for the Hebrews to find – create another God. Or better still, investigate the non-violence of Buddha and Confucius.
